Hertscom started in 2005 when it became apparent to us that many small businesses & professional users were not well supported and suffered a bewildering array of IT services from multiple providers.  This resulted in increased costs, variable quality services and a very complicated situation for anyone to manage.  We found business owners were struggling to keep up with the demands of IT, distracting them from their core business, consuming valuable time and being a general support headache.

Hertscom was born!  We recognised the need for true business-grade support, backed-up with really high quality IT solutions – all under one roof.

Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, with direct access to the M1, A1 & M25, we are well placed to serve the surrounding counties, London and the South East.  We also serve clients in Europe, USA and Middle East.

Our Founder

   John Singleton

With over 18 years of experience delivering IT support & services to business users  John remains very much hands-on, his attention to detail and commitment ensure clients benefit from the very best IT solutions.

Before Hertscom, John was the IT Department Head of an industry-leading manufacturing firm where he implemented a wide range of progressive IT solutions.  Prior to that John worked for a television media business where he developed their IT infrastructure and wide-area broadcast network.

Enthusiastic about the benefits good IT and telephony can bring, John is particularly keen to ensure small businesses benefit from the same top quality IT services that larger enterprises enjoy.  Actively involved in all areas of the business John oversees operations and takes personal interest in the service provided to every customer.
